Departure by car from the accommodation in Santa Marta, at 4:30 am, to Riohacha, place of breakfast. Passing by Uribia, and the salt flats of Manaure, you will arrive at Cabo de la Vela where you will spend the night in hammocks.
In 4×4 and during 4h30, passing by Bahia Honda, Puerto Bolívar and the lagoon of the ducks, you will arrive at Punta Gallinas and the and the imposing desert of Taroa. Note that the transportation to Punta Gallinas can be done by land or sea from Puerto Bolivar by boat for 2 hours. Lodging in hammocks.
Return to Santa Marta after breakfast 8-10h drive.
