Day 1- Departure from Mundo Nuevo. Or Santa Marta or Minca to Finca Santa Elena

If you're in excellent physical condition, a bit adventurous and passionate about nature, this expedition is for you. At 8 a.m., after breakfast, you'll leave Mundo Nuevo in a country-style 4×4 vehicle, passing through the picturesque village of Minca, visiting a traditional coffee finca and arriving at «La Tagua», a small hamlet at an altitude of 1,650 meters. From here, continue the 3 km, 2-3 hour hike to the Santa Elena farm, where the locals are delighted to welcome you and accompany you on an unforgettable experience. Welcome drink and typical Colombian lunch. Walks around the Finca, sunset over the Cienaga, Colombia's largest lagoon, and dinner. Simple, clean accommodation.

Day 2: Santa Elena and return to Mundo Nuevo or Minca or Santa Marta.

At 5.30 am, the sun rises over the snow-capped peaks of Cerro Kennedy as you enjoy a cup of coffee over a traditional breakfast. At 6.30, a 5 km walk to the Cerro Kennedy viewpoint at 3100 m altitude. ( 3 H) You'll cross springs and see many endemic birds. Return by the same route for lunch at the finca, before returning to Mundo Nuevo around 5 p.m. to enjoy the sunset.
