Live a unique experience in the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, a sacred mountain for the indigenous communities at an altitude of 3,100 meters. In the forest, often in the clouds, live hundreds of endemic, common and migratory birds.
At 8:30 am, after your breakfast, you will leave Mundo Nuevo in a 4×4 country vehicle, pass through the picturesque village of Minca, visit a traditional coffee finca and arrive at "La Tagua", a small hamlet at 1650 meters above sea level. From there, continue the 3 km walk, 2 hours, to the Santa Elena farm, where the locals are pleased to receive you and accompany you to live an unforgettable experience. Welcome drink and typical Colombian lunch. Walk around the Finca, sunset on the Cienaga, the largest lagoon in Colombia and dinner.
At 5.30 am, the day rises over the snowy peaks of Cerro Kennedy while you enjoy a cup of coffee over a traditional breakfast. At 6.30, a 5 km walk to the Cerro Kennedy viewpoint at 3100 meters. You will cross springs, observe many endemic birds. Return by the same way to have lunch at the finca before returning to Mundo Nuevo around 5:00 pm to enjoy the sunset.

The trekking in Cerro Kennedy is done through natural paths that communicate with peasant farms and natural reserve areas, guaranteed without mass tourism, ideal to disconnect from city life and have a real encounter with nature.
